Postgraduate

M.Clin.Dent. in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics

How to Apply

You can either complete and return the application form by post, or you can now apply online.

To request access to the online application facility, click --here-- [New Window] and complete the request form.

Application by post

  1. Please complete the application form (Pdf 8pgs, 92Kb), ensuring that you indicate the qualification for which you wish to apply. Or you may request a prospectus to be posted to you ---here---. You will find an application form stapled in the middle of the prospectus.
This form, along with the necessary documentary evidence, should then be submitted to:

    Professor N.J.D. Smith
    Unit of Distance Education
Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute
    King’s College London
    Caldecot Road
    London SE5 9RW
    United Kingdom.

The official deadline for the receipt of applications each year is 31 August. It may be possible, however, for late applications to be considered. Enquiries about submitting a late application should be made to Professor Smith at the address above.
  2. On receipt of your application form and the appropriate supporting documentary evidence, the Course Director will decide whether your application can be accepted.
  3. If your application is accepted, the Postgraduate Admissions Office at Stewart House, University of London, will send you the following: an offer of registration ('offer letter'); a registration form; a fee slip and a copy of the Regulations.
  4. If you decide to register, you will need to complete your registration form and fee slip and return these, along with the appropriate fee, to the Stewart House address given on the offer letter. The deadline for registration is normally 31 October, but it is sometimes possible to accept late registrations.
  5. Your registration on the programme will then be confirmed, and GKT will contact you about beginning your studies.

Early application and registration for the M.Clin. Dent. is strongly recommended as the number of places available in any one year is limited.

You will need, also, to allow sufficient time to plan your travel to the UK for the January intensive course and to make any necessary visa arrangements.
