Postgraduate
MSc
Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology
(formerly
Dental Radiology)
Study
materials and tuition
•
Students receive comprehensive study materials, which have been
written specifically with External students in mind. They include
specially formulated comprehensive and detailed notes on all aspects
of the programme.
In addition, a number of textbooks are provided to allow for general
background reading, as are some reprints of relevant journal articles.
• Each month, students are set assignments which must be
completed and submitted to GKT for marking and comments. Assignments
are scheduled between January and September and the marks for
some of these will count towards the student’s assessment.
It is a student’s responsibility to ensure that they make
all travel and, if necessary, visa arrangements in order to attend
the intensive courses.
•
Although personal support will be available to students registering
for the MSc in Dental Public Health they will not be required
to come to London each year.
• If students consent, their name, address, telephone and
fax numbers
are circulated to fellow students to encourage a study support
network and to prevent a feeling of isolation.
• Personal support by letter, fax and telephone.
• Tutorial guidance is given on the research project and
dissertation.
