Postgraduate

MSc Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology

(formerly Dental Radiology)

A message from Eric Whaites

Dental Radiology and Dental Diagnostic Radiology Course Director

This MSc and Postgraduate Diploma pioneered distance learning in dentistry and has been running successfully since 1990,enabling the University to provide postgraduate teaching for students from many countries around the world. The programmes allow you to study at home and only attend the UK for the two-or three- week annual residential courses, during which you are able to meet fellow students and tutors and establish new friendships. You can maintain your dental practice while at the same time studying for your degree.

The programmes should appeal to any dental practitioner who has an interest in dental radiology and wants to increase their knowledge of the subject. Several of the University's graduates now teach dental radiology and are able to influence, and the University hope improve, the way in which dental radiology is taught and perceived.

If you decide to study either of these programmes you will be provided with a stimulating and challenging course that will widen and deepen your understanding of dental radiology as well as improve your diagnostic interpretative skills. The University look forward to welcoming you onto the programme.
